Crow Kids Day Nursery

Educational Provision

At Crow Kids Day Nursery, we have created a thematic curriculum, that follows the statutory framework for the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS), which is then tailored to the uniqueness of each individual child, based on their passions, likes and interests.
Our curriculum focuses on helping young children learn and grow. It includes fun activities that encourage exploration, creativity, physical movement and social skills. Children learn through play, which helps them develop important skills like language and problem-solving. The curriculum also promotes healthy habits and emotional well-being. Our team ensure a safe environment is provided where children can express themselves and make friends.

Music

Children participate in daily singing, dancing, and playing instruments to foster social interaction, emotional expression and creativity in a playful, engaging and musical environment.

Physical Movement

Physical movement supports their development in gross motor skills, coordination and balance, helping with their emotional regulation and social skills through active play and exploration.

Story time

Story time at Crow Kids Day Nursey is vital to our children as it helps develop early language skills, listening abilities, imaginative thinking and a love for books.

Outdoor Play

We participate in outdoor play twice a day as it promotes physical health, sensory exploration and gross motor development whilst learning within the natural environment.

Sensory Play

Sensory play stimulates and develops their senses, helping them explore and make sense of the world around them whilst supporting fine motor skills, and early problem-solving.

Arts and Crafts

Our children are supported to develop their creativity and self-expression. Engaging in these activities helps build confidence and early understanding of colours, shapes, and textures.
