We were delighted to welcome so many dads, grandads and other family members to our nursery garden for our Father’s Day event.
The children enjoyed sharing their nursery environment with their families and taking part in a range of activities together. The garden was set up with different activity stations including a car wash area, where children cleaned and washed toy cars, a selection of ball games, and a hairdressing role-play station.
The car wash proved particularly popular, with children working alongside their family members to scrub, rinse the cars. The ball games encouraged plenty of movement and participation, while the hairdressing area gave children the opportunity to engage in imaginative play and develop their communication skills with their family.
It was wonderful to see families spending time together, meeting other parents and carers, and joining in with activities throughout the morning.
