We had a fantastic visit from Walsall Firefighters this week! The children loved having a look around the fire engine and finding out all about the important job firefighters do. They showed us some of the equipment they use and even let the children have a turn spraying the fire hose, which was definitely the highlight of the day!
This all linked perfectly with our learning this half term about ‘Clothes’ and people in uniform, helping the children learn more about the special clothing firefighters wear and why it is so important.
A big thank you to the firefighters for taking the time to visit us and make our learning so much fun!
